SO I decided to give up on the journal style blog thing. I would like to keep up with it but I'm SO FUCKING BUSY. We caught way too many bugs (340 so far) and still have more coming in. I have to ID them to species using a key from the 70s (anyone who has ever used a key will feel my pain on that one for sure). I'm photographing each one then dissecting out the digestive track, extracting the DNA, running a PCR then ...more stuff than I want to think about right now LOL.

Going to try to get all of the IDs and photos done this week if not I'm going to be spending my Saturday and Sunday in the lab
