Can't believe it's been that long since I posted here. My life is boring. I've been working on making it big on podcasting. I'm getting there. I'm going to be on the TWiT network next monday the 24th.

so last night we were locked in the hall by order of the sheriff's department. There was some gun toting maniac running around shooting people. They let us leave, but it was before they apprehended him. Personally I could have waited a minute or two longer for them to actually catch the guy and maybe disarm him, but hey I'm sure they know what they're doing.

Do you wanna know why people hate the media? Because they for every fair, balanced story they report they pull crap like this: KCRA 3 here in Sacramento just reported on a story they called "Gone Fishing." Several Sac Sheriff homicide detectives requested and were approved for time off to go on a fishing trip. Just like anyone else, they are permitted to take time off. While this went on the The Sheriff dept asked Sac PD to cover on a homicide case. Basically this was a management mistake. The Sheriff's dept had enough detectives to cover it, but didn't realize so they asked Sac PD to step in. Simple managment mistake. What's the problem? They kept playing up the fact that the Sheriff's dept's detectives took a vacation. They kept making comments like, "but Sac PD had to respond because Sheriff's dept. detectives were on... VACATION. They even ended the story by stating that the sheriff's dept had no comment as to whether or not the vacationing detectives caught any fish. Really? Really?! Was it such a slow news day that you had to make a story out of this crap? Try and stir up a little controversy? I'm not saying that law enforcement is without corruption, there is very little in his world that is, but GO FIND IT. Do your fucking job and find a real story instead of trying to make a small mistake into some controversial display of incompetence. People in this country already have a severe lack of respect for the people who protect it you don't need to add to it by glancing over the fact that even though this time it wasn't necessary, PD covering for Sheriffs is a ROUTINE PRACTICE and has nothing to do with the detectives taking a normal vacation. By the way KCRA, have you never made a mistake? I'm pretty sure you have, since you kept flashing the name and rank for a Sac PD Officer while showing a County Sheriff official standing in front of a SHERIFF DEPT SIGN. Please do your damn job, don't harass people doing their's.

No word from Apple. That's a bit frustrating. I thought the interview went really well. How is it possible that finding a second, part-time job is harder than finding a regular full-time one? Ug. Ohio State played like shit today. I can't wait for the harassment to start on monday. What is about sports that bring out the worst in people? It doesn't matter that it wasn't my team that beat your team, I just wanna gloat about something that neither one of us had anything to do with. Awesome. I'm going to bed.

Hmm... I don't know what it is about Imogen Heap that I find profundly interesting. I have always had a predilection for original personalities, but she seems to go above and beyond. If I encountered anyone else saying the things she says or doing the things she does, I'd wonder how long they'd been off their medication- but not her. When she says or does some of the more out there things she does, it's like the most natural thing in the world. Nothing strange about it at all. Anyway, see for yourself.

The gross mismanagement of my life has finally caught up to me. The one thing that I thought would be there for me when I got my shit together is gone. I guess you reap what you sew.
