cursive was fucking awesome tonight. the last time i saw them play was probably 8 years ago. i still loved them back then, but the shows were always a little strange because tim kasher would always be so drunk. he was still drunk tonight, but much better at playing drunk if that makes sense. their set was an awesome mix of songs off I Am Gemini, Ugly Organ, Happy Hollow, and Domestica, and one tune of Burst and Bloom. they sounded fantastic and Kasher's voice was better than i ever remembered it being.
i finally bought the new record, and also finally got the back catalog (minus storms of early summer and such blinding stars for starving eyes) on vinyl. also an awesome limited (23/100) screened poster for the show.

well, no stage tonight. instead of working for free trying to get a new job i guess i'll just go and see CURSIVE!
had an interview at the sofitel today. they are the complete opposite of what i am doing right now and that is a good thing. i can tell the staff of chef's is serious, passionate, and legitimatly driven about getting their restaurant to the top. they are focus right now on getting a michelin star in the next year or two and that is no easy feat.
i can tell they are better leaders than what i have now, basically because of how directly they speak. no babbling over words, no nonsense, we got straight to the point.
kichen was clean and organized, coolers included.
it certainly seems like what i am looking for on the surface, but there are many factors that i need to weigh.
