juno106:
yeah I wish you could reply to comments that ppl leave like in LJ. I always end up at the other persons journal replying to there comments. I wonder Why SG has not done anything like that.
juno106:
hehe, ahh yes that is a problem too...

I think they need to build up the journals a bit more as I think much of the success of SG is the comunity.

Ill go check your link...

I keep waking up in the middle of dreams. Almost every day.

It leaves me with that not-quite rested feeling, that vaguely hungover feeling.

I watched Dogville tonight.

I hate to ruin anything for those who've perhaps not seen it, but suffice to say.... WOW!

I find I have a growing distaste for quick cutting and fancy-pants stylistic flourishing. Good cinema does not call attention to its own stylings, but rather seems naturalistic no matter how unnatural it may be by fitting with the tone/mood of the plot.

Form always informed by content.
fenris23:
I probably agree with you.

Happy birthday!
juno106:
happy birthday...

From your lisat of Favorite movies I'de say you definetly like reali Indi fimls when there really was a good amount of them being bad and before all the little indi comanies where slowly baught ot the fake indie-like films were made.

Personaly I like movies for different reasons. For instance, I love Wes Anderson films for there smooth style, great storey telling, wonder intresting charictors, and humore. But I also loved "Riot on the suset strip for how reiculouse it was anwell the clothes and hair.

I get so damn angry and frustrated when people seem to care more about logical arguements and rhetoric than the actual practicalities of people suffering in the world.
juno106:
its amazing how shallow ppl get over a few $ here and there.... I actually am living off of invested monay at the time the investment includes several ppl and thats all the income we have at the moment and to tell you the truth the bush tax cuts help but I think they are backwards as hell. ppl that have money need to stop worrying about weather they can buy two SUVs next year or just a new SUV and a car rather then how to keep there money from some ppl who need it or to education or ummm something simple like trasnportation.

Riding up the escalator today at the Powell St. BART station, I emerged to find thousands of people holding anti-war signs, chanting, and otherwise mourning Kerry's loss of the election.

They're children if they believe any of it will change a damn thing.

juno106:
