Well hello to the handful of you still paying attention.
I'm only here for a quick update. Maybe a picture or two. Who knows. But it's not much.
My husband has a report date in Jan. Which means I would have to move AFTER him. I don't really care about moving after him, since the Army will pack and move our stuff. The only issue I have is that I have to fly alone to a new country, and my dog won't be with me. She would be in some loud, scary, ass-end of an airplane. It's so long to be without her, knowing how alone and afraid she is. I just know I'm going to cry constantly.
He's requested it be pushed back as long as possible. We don't know anything yet, obviously.
To be honest, I'm terrified out of my mind. The more I try, the more I realize I can't pronounce German to save my life. I can pronounce French and Italian, even though I've only studied one of them. I can see myself getting lost in the Frankfurt airport. I have zero patience for customs and the lines. I've dealt with customs ONCE. Once. I was like 13, and I still remember how stressful it was.
My birthday is coming up. 3 days to go. I have officially made it past my mother's age record for being pregnant. I wish I had to balls to rub it in her face.
I bought everything I need for Thanksgiving yesterday! I'm very happy about that. Everything except dessert and turkey bags. I found SOFT candycane pieces! I am still giddy about it. I would have killed for those last holiday season. So I'm going to buy a FEW bags, and I'm using them to top my Mocha Peppermint Brownies. I'm buying extra bags to make them for Reekie when she's here.
Speaking of my Reekster, seeing as I may not being able to visit the midwest because of the move....her and I are struggling to figure out how to get her home. I know it will get taken care of, but it's another thing to worry about.
Anyways, my christmas gifts are coming along nicely. I have cards and pens now, and even note cards to make instructions for the gifts. It's a lot of work to do, but I'm farther along than I ever thought I would be. I can't wait to get them sent out, but the fucking postal service STILL hasn't delivered the boxes I ordered.
So, I have accomplished amazing things for Christmas gifts to send to friends and family. And my birthday is coming up soon, which means Starbucks! And cards and gifts too, but mostly starbucks lol. And then I get to cook a thanksgiving dinner which I love to do.
So my life is very very very stressful right now but I have a couple things to look forward to. I hope to find more time for SG though. I miss you guys.
