most humbling moment: Nineteen years old, seeing an ocean for the first time. A hot N.Carolina summer afternoon. In complete "aww" of how big and vast it looks, I run out into the water till I'm chest deep. The very first wave knocks me down, and nearly drowns me. Getting up, coffing up the salty water, I stumble to my feet, and I say, "Okay, you have my full attention now!"
