@catdad I took her to a shelter. They said a bet would help her and they'd see if she has a microchip. They have me her animal ID number so I can call to check on her. I'm calling them today

Sorry to hear she was put down. She sounded very sick, though. A stray showed up here in July or August and I've been feeding him since about mid-September. Now that I've set up some new bedding for him, I've discovered that he has a problem with bowel incontinence because of a broken tail. My vet was concerned about it when I first took him in, but I hadn't seen any direct evidence yet. Currently treating him with steroids to try to stimulate nerve growth and hope it gets under control. He hasn't had a problem with pooping in his bed while he sleeps for a few days, but now he's having problems peeing while he sleeps. Hoping it is a temporary thing related to drinking more water due to the steroids.
