You're probably all like "whats this crazy poodle think she's doing on that space mountian with a silver straw?" I'll tell you after I share some things that find very appealing, recently.

  • The other week, Rambo and I drove up to the bay area to move her things down to LA. I got to see Quinne and Nixon and meet Dice again. I got a new little tattoo and some great views on our ride home on the 101 hwy.

    Ok, now for the poodle on a mountain story:

    I'm not exactly a physically fit person. I am however a very stubborn one. So when Sean bet me that I couldn't walk my dog up to the Griffith Observatory every morning before work, I'm pretty sure he thought it was a sure bet.

    Its no easy task for me, but when you feel like you're going to pass out on a mountain and there is a 6 lb poodle looking up at you.....not panting at any point....it really makes you feel like a fucking wuss. Today was day three of the 4 mile, 6am, uphill hike and its the first day I don't feel like I want to curl up and die by noon. I'm actually not opposed to the idea of doing it all over again after work, so that I can watch the sunset from the west coast and catch up on The Moth Podcast on the way up.

    Also, after Bee introduced me to the joys of straws that are built to last, I have been obsessed with drinking cold water through a silver straw! Today alone, I've gone through 6 liters of water.

    So there. I'm falling into lovely health regimen due to the help of:


    • a planetarium

    • poodle puppies

    • unusual silverware

    Great Tummy story. There is nothing more inspiring, especailly for a guy that struggles whith his own body fustrations, than to hear a story like that. It is even better from someone that he things is extremely sexy already!

    Dog snorts crack me up too! When my pooch does it he kinda resembles a cross between a walruss lying on the beach and Pumba from The Lion King!
