As requested by two drunken idiots who screamed constantly during their last show I saw, Everything's Fucked. I've never heard the recorded version, nor do I know if it's been released, but it was pretty amazing. Besides that, Backwards Voyager and Deep Water.

This is slightly off topic, but has anyone else picked up the three-song Warren Ellis EP that's out? I just stumbled across it the other day -- it's apparently a soundtrack he created for a dance troupe's perforrmance, but beyond that I don't know too much about it. To me, it's interesting but feels more like sketches than a finished product -- totals 16 minutes. Still I'd think it's worth picking up if you're a huge Dirty Three fan, though.

Red's the first song that got me interested in them. Probably because it's their most conventional in terms of style & length.

I bought a cool Dirty Three t-shirt at a concert a few months ago... I slashed it diagonally & added tassels. I'm wearing it today and it looks freaking cool. Unfortunately, no one seems to be familiar with them. frown

I love the fact Warren Ellis has a naked lady sticker on his violin. Has anyone heard the stuff they did with Low?

In the Fishtank is indeed a great album......especially hungover on a sunday morning....(that whole series is great....wish I could replace my copy of Gov'nor) I would like to know from Warren Ellis a few things.......First: How does he enjoy playing with the bad seeds?.....on the DVD the man seems to be having the time of his life......and second...I have heard rumors that the Dirty Three were doing an album with (or at least tracks with) Pj Harvey....any truth to that?
