Whenever I see a person's last.fm tracklist or something similar, it's always a bunch of random tracks. Am I the only person who almost always puts on full albums, even on the computer?

I dunno if it's just I'm too lazy to actually create a playlist full of random tracks, or what... and whenever I put on a single song that I want to hear, I start doing something else, the song ends, and it's another 30 minutes before I realize it and put on a different song.

I'm an album girl. It's rare that I'll listen to just one track by a band.
I like the journey.

I listen to albums, but then I'm weird and still buy CDs. I hardly have any digital music at all.

playlists and shuffle when at home, full albums via headphones when out-and-about. this is mainly because, when i'm at home and listening to music, i'm doing other stuff, and not giving it my full attention.

little bit of column A, little bit of column B. More often than not it'll be the full album, but if I'm lazy, I'll just let the Player make a playlist for me.

I believe firmly in the art of the mix tape. Even if it's not so much a tape anymore. It's not random, anymore than the assembly of an album is random, in my opinion. It's about using specific tracks to evoke a specific reaction. skull robot puke

I like owing albums. There's something slightly romantic about owing actual records, and having the liner notes and shit, IMO.

If I want to listen to individual tracks I use my computer. if I want to listen to full albums I use my CD player.

I like restricting myself to only one method of consuming music. It makes me better than the philistines.

I put full albums on there, but I usually put my iTunes on "party shuffle".

I'm an 'album' kind of guy. I hate it when people skip tracks on albums when I'm driving too... grrr smile

I'll usually have a playlist going on my iPod... but occasionally I'll get the urge to listen to an album.
Playlists get boring sometimes... but you can rely on 'em, 'cause you put what you like on them...

Tough call.

Albums all the way. the artists didn't put all the tracks on a record for you to just listen to one or two over and over again. You have to listen the whole way through to really grasp what the artist wanted to accomplish with the album.
