Do you have a song that summarizes you or your life? If you can't think of a single one, and none of us ever can, try a top five.

Myself:
Jimi Hendrix - Stone Free
Nick Drake - I Was Made to Love Magic
Bob Dylan - Tangled Up in Blue
Al Green - Tired of Being Alone frown
Beatles - Here Comes the Sun

P.S. Mad props to whoever can pick, in all honesty, either the theme song from "Shaft" or "Sex Machine" by James Brown.

I once taped a bunch of surf instrumentals for my friend's wife and she said they're the kind of thing she hears in her head as the soundtrack to her day...

...of course, that was exactly my point in taping them. "Apache" by the Ventures, "Surf Rider" by The Lively Ones, and all the old instrumentals like "Watermelon Man" or "The In-Crowd"...

...there are songs relating to work that I think about at work: "Clocked In" by Black Flag, "We Get'n Paid" by Schoolly D, or The Pogues' "Muirshin Durkin".

...I guess it's not cool, but the song that I guess describes my general life best is "Turn It On Again" by Genesis. "All I need is a TV show/that and a radio/down on my luck again/down on my luck again..."
