That's right folks I just waited in line (albeit a short one) for gas! $2.99 for unleaded in North Carolina. Luckily we have a Prius, so I won't have to go back for a while!

Lucky me, I don't have a car!

Of course, sometimes it's not so good when I need to get around... but thank golly for free buses.

I filled up on Sunday, my Pops called me and told me that this would be happening this week, so I didn't have to wait in any lines......as luck would have it though, I managed to lock my keys in my car while I was filling up, so I did end up waiting for 2 hours while the wrecker got there to unlock my doors....I have the best luck! tongue

It was $2.60 here before the Hurricane - and the pump kitschy was at can't actually be set higher than $2.99 (that's all the pumps can be set to), so it'll be really interesting at the next visit to the pump. eeek

I remember being exasperated when gas broke $1.00 a gallon. I couldn't believe it.
