And yet the new Congress is already at it again... Failed VP candidate Paul Ryan has just signed on as a cosponsor for a proposed (read DOA) fetal personhood bill, er, that is, a "one-celled human embryo" rights bill. surreal

I'm so glad they're focused on preserving life... And gun rights.

Well, it's a good thing your economic problems are all sorted out so they can get to this very important business. whatever

i wanted to be on record, while at the same time i am not eager to carry on and on in a long back-and-forth in yet another abortion thread.

Oooo-Kay.

Wanna know the best way not to join in on a conversation you won't like?

Don't join in on it at all.

Then why bring it up? Some of us are willing to comment on reality, you don't have to comment if you don't want to. No one is keeping a record of you not commenting on such issues, so why the hell bring it up? You want to be on record for opting out (with who?) Fine, noted. Good bye.

There's an easy way to avoid a long back-and-forth, and frankly, it's just butt the hell out.

Otherwise, you're welcome to come back and talk about how much of a landmark 40 years has been for Roe v Wade, and how much of a struggle it's been to get here. Or how it's constantly being fought against and attacked, just like the women who are often victims of rape. Meanwhile, this struggle and challenge within society goes on. Some of us want to cry out in victory, some to remind us that there are others continuing on with their ugly attack against a woman's civil rights.

It's simply amazing, we have crazies going nuts about their 2nd Amendment rights, hung up over a an 18th century ordinance "shall not be infringed upon." And yet these are often the same people who have been infringing upon women's (and human) rights from their very onset (sometimes violently). Without risk of changing the subject further, it's worth noting that many people are at least as passionate about women's rights, if not, more then other rights.

i wanted to state that i am not super happy about 40 years of wholesale abortion.
at the same time i dont want to enter into another pointless abortion debate.

it really isnt that complicated.

They have them at Costco, but you have to be a member.

Actually it's only for executive members; it's one of those incentives they give

Damn it. I opted for a BJ's membership. Turns out they don't have those in bulk there either.

See..us Swedes think you guys are bananas for even fighting about this, here it's performed in regular hospitals and no-one gets shot or bombed or picketed. (It's even free! just the normal cost you always pay for visiting the doctor, like 20 bucks)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion_in_Sweden

It's an important milestone this, asp as limitations and fights about the womans right to choose is happening all over the states (and world..... just look at what happened in Ireland this year,,,despicable)

Have you considered buying your abortions in bulk from China or Hong Kong? I know it's important to buy american to support the economy but some things are worth to look abroad for, eBay usually have great deals and you can ask them to label it as a gift to avoid taxes.

Just look at reviews, I know a friend of mine bought some abortions in bulk and they turned out to be enemas...sneaky seller.

I got yer "wholesale" right here. I mean, it's a scientifically proven fact that fetal-personhood-hatred has actually reversed the earth's population clock. Oh, wait...

In case you didn't get the translation of snark... your use of the word "Wholesale" has no meaning to this. Any assumption I make about what you meant by the use of the word "wholesale" (happens in bulk, legal for any reason / time, sold by my private parties and wouldn't occur if illegal) also leads me to the assumption that you have no clue what you are talking about.

I have, but the shipping costs are horrendous. I'll just wait for spring, when I can buy organic free-range abortions at my local farmers market.
