This is a very pleasant suprise. And will pretty much all but exclude him from the gop's VP search.

Thanks it's the start of my fifteen seconds of fame. Doubt if I will get more.

I disagree with the Republicans on almost everything, but really?

I do think Charlie Crist is interesting, but hardly a Joe Lieberman of his party...

I really don't want to loose Christ as Governor. I think, for the most part, he's a liberal in republican's clothing. He just inked a $1.7 billion dollar deal to buy out US Sugar and return 300 square MILES of sugar cane field back into the natural everglades. He's actually done, or at least attempted, to do some very progressive things since he took office. I'd be afraid if he left, who would replace him.

I think was excluded him was that he has said he doesn't want to be VP. He hasn't been governor for long and would prefer to stay in that position.

Unfortunately for human rights, I think he is excluded because he may be gay.

That might not be a good fit with his party.

Plus he would lose his awesome tan. But his name does often come up often, mainly due to the fact that he seems to approach most issues from a common sense point of view.

They must not like him, as he hasn't sent any inappropriate emails to teenage pages and they tried to cover up for him thus he would owe them.

this is pure, unadulterated speculation on my part, but for some reason, Crist strikes me as being healthily, confidently gay. like he's got a steady, fulfilling, long-term relationship that he's keeping quiet for the sake of party propriety. he's not out screwing around with pages because he doesn't bottle things up like that. and if he's outed, or outs himself? i'd lay good money on him retaining governorship.

I love your idealism. But he has always denied he is a homosexual. I personally could give a rat's ass if he is gay, and wish everyone felt that way. Alas that won't be for a long while. Now if he is outed I don't think he will be able to continue as governor. The gop christian right would flip the fuck out. And don't tell me those ass-hat's don't wield any power.

Just keep on, keeping on. The world needs dreamers, because one day those dreams will become a reality.
Just promise me you won't become a decider.

Not so much cute, as appropriate with the clowns running the gop right now.
That and I stole it from Sam Sedar.
