New Job
New job, new friends, new life
So recently I've just started a new job which I really enjoy but I think sometimes it's really hard starting everything again. I need to make all new friends and work relationships and sometimes people get threatened by that because I'm the new kid and all that.
I think the hardest part is making an impression so that people don't think you're an idiot and that you don't know what you're talking about. The think I hate the most is that when you start a new job you have to do the training and you get trained by a lot of different people and when you do something that someone else has showed you, the new person who is training you says that its wrong.
Today I was working with this guy who is cool and all but a bit of a wanker who thinks he is better then everyone else and has a power trip and only really cares about himself. I was doing work and I was doing things right but he kept correcting me and doing things for me which annoyed me because I could of easily done it but the manager said I'm not aloud to do the job on my own at the moment. I almost got into a fight with him for not doing things the right way.
There are some really cool people there and I've already made some friends. I just hate how people ask so much of you and want you to get things done so quickly because that's what they are used to and I'm only new and they should understand that I am in training and I need to be taught not told what to do.
So I hope tomorrow is a better day on the job then today and yesterday and maybe tomorrow I'll be able to work on my own.
