i ate like such a fat kid today. 
went to this little mexican hole in the wall restaurant in the city after work with one of my college friends that also works on broadway. chatted about theatre, and school, and music, and absolutely nothing related to any sort of shitstorm. it was FANTASTIC.
rumor has it that shrek on broadway (yes, it's really happening) is going to be INCREDIBLE. i can't wait. after the train wreck that mermaid was, i am all sorts of stoked to have a good quality disney show. cause really, disney has so much potential to do amazing things. all the money in the world- they have no fucking excuse for putting on a shitty show. and yes, my shop is bidding on it. i think because there's a lot of creatures in the show, it's likely we will get at least some of it, if not a huge fucking chunk of it. i hope we get to build shrek!
tomorrow, japanese mtv is filming an episode at work. one of our interns is from japan and the episode is a mini-documentary of her life in america as she follows her dreams of being a costume designer. she's such a cool chick- she actually used to be a harajuku girl, back before gwen stefani made it all lame-like. so i guess i'm putting on eyeliner and something cute and tight tomorrow. FUCK, why did i eat all those enchiladas tonight? lol

you lucky girl you...the summer of 2005 was a drought in slate blue stretch velvet for some reason. i scoured spandex house, spandex world, stretch world...not a damn yard to be found. had to order it in philly. now it's everywhere...dammit.

You know I have found free range organic meats here in town but they are so bloody expensive!! Perhaps once in a while I will treat myself though....
