So I've decided that I want to grow my hair again. I've had my head shaved since November of 2005 and feel that I miss having long hair. I won't do dreads again because it would hurt the job situation and having dandruff isn't fun. I'll just get my hair straightened because it gets too fucking puffy. Any ways school is nearing the end for me, I fucking hate my digital instructor because he cannot teach and he's a hard ass (in fact he couldn't teach farm animals how to fuck). My other classes are going fine. There is a girl at school who I've seen in the cafeteria who I find very attractive, but I'm too fucking shy to say hello, it's something I must get over, I'm just nervous that she'll think that I'm some creepy stalker and greet me with pepper spray to the face and have some security goons beat me senselessly with batons. Any ways on the band front I think that we've finally finished out demo, Dan's just got to mix it, see if my vocals fit because we had to redo the instrumentals. I've promised people that we'd be done earlier and it pisses me off that we are not done. I'm starting to think that we are pulling an Axel Rose with this fucking demo. We may finally have a bass player too, but we haven't really had to talk with her and see what she sounds like behind the bass. Once we get organized we hope to write new material (I've already started penning some lyrics) work on our first full album and play in some bars.
1) What are you listening to?
2) What book are you reading?
3) What are your thoughts on religion?
my answers
1) Marduk's new album, Rom 5:12, great album
2) The Case Against Christianity by Michael Martin, a book which gives that religion a thorough philosophical examination and finds tons of flaws
3) The organized religions I see as generally bad and something which should be criticized and challenged especially when those religions start encroaching upon everyday life.

Sometimes I'm jealous of people who believe in god. The moms is pretty religious and she gleans alot of comfort and hope from her beliefs. (My dad on the other hand is an 80-year-old secular humanist and a socialist.) So as long as some people get that kind of benefit and don't kill each other over it etc. I suppose I have no problems. But, you know, I've got problems with it because of all the killing and whatnot.
