thanks for your worries!
my family and friends are fine. There is just one friend i haven't got the chance to talk with, and who lives in a town near the epicenter, so i'm a little worried. I'm hoping for the best though.

I have not updated in a while. I don't have a whole lot to say at the moment. I'm back at school, working and kind of bored.

Not a whole lot today, I'm getting ready to go back to school tomorrow. If things go according to plan, this time next year will be my last semester, and I'll have a real job by the following January.

Woof woof.

Boy do I have a story for you. Last week I thought that I hurt my tail bone, because that area of my ass was sore and had a little bump. No big deal, It will be healed by the end of the weekend, or so my logic says. Well low and behold by Saturday IT WAS FUCKING WORSE! I could not sit down comfortably...

Not a whole lot going on here, but heres an update. I'm working a lot like always and I'm taking a psych course for the summer. I've been too busy to be social lately and the band is still looking for a guitar player, but we may have found him. We're still looking for a bass player too but I've had a few leads in...

All right my friends, I need a favor from you guys. I'm doing a survey about ethics in my psych class. Just leave your responses as comments. Thanks smile

1) A house in Iraq is taken out by an air strike conducted by the US Military. The house was a suspected hide out for Al Qaeda leaders who were plotting to kill American soldiers in Iraq...

catdad:
1) Ultimately, no. The entire issue of us being there is unethical. Our troops never should have been there in the first place to execute that strike. That being said, since we are there now and with the situation as it is, I think it is justifiable and don't have a lot of qualms about the result. Not having lived in a state where armed "mercenaries/terrorists/freedom fighters" can force their way into your home and use it as a hideout, it's difficult to relate. Without knowing more details as to why the family didn't leave when it happened (was a family member being held hostage?), it's hard to feel sorry for them.

2) As a sovereign state, I think Iran is justified to do whatever they want. We shouldn't have invaded Iraq in the first place, at least not without significant global support and a better plan. The entire region is fucked. Iran is arming them now, but they could very well be fighting against many of those same people within the next decade or two as powers and allegiances shift.

3) Of course not. Slavery of any kind = bad. Killing entire populations of people = bad.

Well we've hit a road block with the band. The guitar player got kicked out of his father's house because he could never hold down a job and pay rent and it looks like he's moving to Tennessee to live with his mom. Me and Dan have decided to kick him out of the band, and yet the guy insists that he can still part...

So I've decided that I want to grow my hair again. I've had my head shaved since November of 2005 and feel that I miss having long hair. I won't do dreads again because it would hurt the job situation and having dandruff isn't fun. I'll just get my hair straightened because it gets too fucking puffy. Any ways school is nearing the end for...

hey sweety!
squire:
1) What are you listening to?
A lot of Jolie Holland and Led Zeppelin.

2) What book are you reading?
The Last Voyage of Somebody the Sailor by John Barth

3) What are your thoughts on religion?
Sometimes I'm jealous of people who believe in god. The moms is pretty religious and she gleans alot of comfort and hope from her beliefs. (My dad on the other hand is an 80-year-old secular humanist and a socialist.) So as long as some people get that kind of benefit and don't kill each other over it etc. I suppose I have no problems. But, you know, I've got problems with it because of all the killing and whatnot.

Hello alll . . . three or four of you folks who bother chatting with me LOL. I'm doing well. I had my birthday party last night and my band played a basement show in celebration. We got a good reaction from the guests and had a cool after party. Any ways I'm on a positive high right now, school is going great for the...
