So since I had a complaint about my obvious lack of activity on here, I decided to post an update for if anyone cares....
Sorry guys, I never used this as a social utility, I was mainly here for the pretty ladies^_^
So...
I'm rather excited for Christmas! Jen and I have decorated my home, and Ryan and I decorated the tree. It was our very first tree of our own... awwww. ^_^♥ I've been knitting up a storm of gifts for people... also sewing, but I had been focusing on knitting a lot, and now, since my wrists are getting sore, I'm going to take a bit of a break and sew things that need sewing, such as a bday gift for Jenny pie.
My tea is cold.... one day I'll knit a tea cozy.
So today I plan to sew.
But last night, while I was watching Peter Pan and eating chili, Ryan came home from work for a little break. At about 8ish he had talked me into helping him finish this house he's working on.
So I did. I did mostly scrapping out of leftover chunks of drywall, and sweeping up.. But I also got to help him put up a wall and part of a sky light. I felt rather skilled. However, I started to develop a rather sore throat, which at first I chalked up to the unusual amount of dust I was inhaling... but it's still here, and I'm fairly sure I've got a cold... so here I sit drinking, sickie pie tea... it's quite tasty really... if you can mask the awful taste of echinacea with delicious mint.. .then it's good and good for you. So yes, working with Ryan was fun though rather tiring, I don't know how that boy does it, but we totally finished that house and cleaned up and everything^_^
Good days to be had by all. OH, and last night when we'd gotten home and into bed, but hadn't turned the lights out yet, we heard thumping about under our window... So my first thought was that it was the notorious baby bear that's been rummaging through and making a mess of our garbage for the past couple weeks. So we got up and opened the window to see, and sure enough the garbage can was knocked over and baby bear was escaping to the neighbour's house... Silly bear... he was still rather smallish, probably only about 5' ish if he were standing tall. Cute lil' bugger. I've gotten into the habit of trying to put as much fresh food as i can in hte compost so that he doesn't attack the garbage so much...

I only wanted to add you because it says you're from port alberni, and I grew up there.
