So here I am at home on one of the last days of my vacation, with a twisted ankle, and three party invitations I gotta turn down cuz I'm walking like a pirate. Perhaps if I fashioned a sort of peg leg disguise I could pull it off? ARRR!!!

What do you do when you're past your sell-by date?

sprat:
you've two choices, as I see it:

1) photoshop the use-by date to give yourself more time or
2) sell low and lick your wounds

Hmmm, I will be in Osaka sometime between the 7-16 May, don't know exact dates yet, probably sometime around the 10th.

PS don't worry not knowing enough about football and not knowing enough people who enjoy Sake

Iga is in Mie-ken, which is where I live, although I'm at the opposite end of the prefecture. I'm in a small town really far south, practically in Wakayama-ken. Where are you living?
skank_zero:
There's actually a fairly large Brazilian population in Mie, up in the capital a lot of things are bilingual in Japanese and Portuguese. Mie has some pretty cool spots; besides Iga, birthplace of Ninja (complete with Ninja museums and live shows), we also have the Grand Ise Shrine, the Suzuka Circuit, and the Kumano Kodo. I should be here a while, I'm 6 months into a 2-year contract, and if I still like it a year from now I can renew for a 3rd.
