More tshirts! I know you have them.
So, today's the day: 20+ freaks converge for a grand spring bacchanalia at scenic Maruyama Koen in Kyoto. We managed to score a wicked spot for the day too!

Hmmm, I will be in Osaka sometime between the 7-16 May, don't know exact dates yet, probably sometime around the 10th.
PS don't worry not knowing enough about football and not knowing enough people who enjoy Sake

Iga is in Mie-ken, which is where I live, although I'm at the opposite end of the prefecture. I'm in a small town really far south, practically in Wakayama-ken. Where are you living?
skank_zero:
There's actually a fairly large Brazilian population in Mie, up in the capital a lot of things are bilingual in Japanese and Portuguese. Mie has some pretty cool spots; besides Iga, birthplace of Ninja (complete with Ninja museums and live shows), we also have the Grand Ise Shrine, the Suzuka Circuit, and the Kumano Kodo. I should be here a while, I'm 6 months into a 2-year contract, and if I still like it a year from now I can renew for a 3rd.
Awesome night w/ fenny last. Bon jovi never sounded better.

I spent my whole time in high school reading a lot of japanese authors, and fell in love with the difficulty of nihongo :]
I know it's a strange reason but I like challenges

I bet you are! I hadn't even noticed before that you lived there, I was just asking if you knew anything about the school.
Under normal circumstances I'd probably be down for post-flight drinking, but I think I'll probably have a lot going on what with checking into dorms and all that stuff, so I'll have to raincheck. But hopefully you can show me around some!

Wow that's so insulting. It's never fun being the minority.
So i have some weird growth under the skin under my chin.I just noticed it yesterday while teaching and its grown a bit since then. Some of the older ladies i teach saturdays said it was probably from a cold but i otherwise feel fine. Its firm and hurts just slightly, like a numb ball just under my jaw,and it moves with any significant vibration, like on a train...

Maybe it's an alien mutant growth that will soon take over your whole body! hehe
So, this is ironic, or weird, or just strangely disrespectful. I'm at work now and the school music has recently changed to a mix of mid-90s REM and Toto. Yes, "Africa" to be exact. Anyway, it just played the REM song that WS Burroughs did a voiceover for. Now, Ol' Billy has been a favorite of mine for quite some time, and I have that...

why i would join SG Japan... by curiosity ? because i love asian women, because i'm curious about the japanese culture which seems to me so different from the european one... because i think racism is the lack of knowledge of other cultures, because i'm mixed, caught between my european and caribean cultures... i don't know, i guess i just want to open my spirit to Japanese people and why not visit the country (but i'm not really fluent in japanese).... no for real ? i LOVE the asian type of women

Awww, During Christmas break I'll be back in Palm Beach County. Thanksgiving and Christmas are the only times this year that I won't be in Gainesville.
