So not last night, but the night before, Friday night, I decided to sweep the porch. As I was sweeping I stepped on a thorny stick. This stick yielded huge thorns, one of which stuck 1/2' into the bottom of my foot.
I proceeded to pull it out and rince my foot. I took a nice video and documented it, which I can't seem to upload now. At any rate, it made walking difficult and eventually downright painful. Yesterday, the area around the puncture got to be about the size of a dime and bright red. This morning? Swollen to the size of a quarter around, bright red and EXTREMELY painful to walk on. Verdicit? Either its really irritated, or its infected. Shit.
On the upside - friend and I reanimated the idea of a bake-a-thon. Though there was no TV with it, we made banana bread and pink cupcakes with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. The frosting was homemade chocolate butter cream and they looked kinda like this
unfortuantely, everyone at the potluck we made them for ate them all, no photographic proof of our excellence.

That sounds ridiculously painful, hopefully there were some sweets to act as comfort food for you.
