My birthday came and went. Now it's time for winter. I'm not ready for the snow again, it seems like it just melted. I woke up this morning and looked out, horrified, because I thought that there was snow on the trees! It was just a figment of my imagination but for a moment I was about ready to cry.

I have a ton of homework to do this weekend, I dived right in today and got the crappy stuff over with. I caught up on all my paperwork for classes, now I just have creative stuff left.

I also took a quick trip over to Hancock Fabrics today to get some random supplies. I decided that since I got a sewing machine for Christmas last year I should put it to some use for this years Christmas presents. While I was at Hancock I saw the cutest little fat quarters for sale all bundled up - it was about 8 similar fabrics all watercolor/pastelly with light metallic silver swirls over it. They were really pretty but I didn't get any since I have no use for them right now. It inspired me for the color scheme of one of my homework pieces though.\

...side note: You know you've lived in America too long when you start spelling color without the u (ie. colour). I've caught myself doing it a few times in the last little while now.
