Alrighty!!!
Been awhile since I've posted a good entry. And this will not be that good entry. Lack of time you understand don't you.
Ok, at the end of December I went on a "date", (when in reality it was really just hanging out but you explain the different to me).
Into NYC, for an evening of dining, observing and movie-watching.
First-off was the Museum of Sex, which was a good time but I was let-down only for the fact that it was rather small. You figure museum of sex, it has to be this vast expansive building detailing sex throughout the ages!!
No my comrades...very much the opposite. But don't let my experience deter you...they had some interesting exhibits and video.
The medical fetish which the name eludes me but something along the lines of "hurt and heal" was insane. I should have recorded the video but I didn't. It was a procedure called "blow balls" in which a man bound in latex and vinyl was strapped down to a gurney and two mistresses proceeded to inject the man's scrotum with a rather large gauged (sp?) syringe full of saline. Ever so gently and patiently, you begin to see the said scrotum fill up with liquid to the point where now the penis and shaft has been swallowed by the saline.
The "nurses" then inserted a tube or catheter into the urethra and proceeded to extract the saline from the man's unit. And then they worked their way up to the mans nipples and pierced him and other forms of mutilation. Crazy shit I tell you. I wanted a cigarette after viewing that.
They had an exhibit of sex throughout the history of motion pictures. Everything from early stag films, to exploitation movies, to the porn industry. The cool thing about the exhibit was the fact that they had projectors which hung from the ceiling that projected onto thee large flat surfaces and you just looked down and viewed all these different scenes. Looking around it was great, couples, friends, and single people all standing around viewing these scenes of explicit sex and things that are considered "taboo" when in reality it's not and it's just that....reality. The next and last room contains the following pictures. The only thing I want to explain is the Michael Sullivan diorama. This artists makes model figure of robots. He had a video on display which shows 3 robots performing mechanical sex. It was the craziest thing. And the following is a diorama which he designed, the short bio will explain it but the level of detail and the things various sexual deviancies that are occurring is just nuts.

After the museum, we walked to times square, which was ridiculous due to the fact that the city was preparing everything for new year's eve. I felt like I was in a movie, everyone was just looking up at where the ball would drop. Tourists mostly, but it literally took about 15 mins to get to one end of times square to the other. After dinner, we made it just in time to the movies to catch "el orfanato" or "the orphanage". It was excellently done and I really did love it. It's not every movie I see that truly captures me and has me sitting at the edge of my seat. The thing I liked about the movie was the fact that they concentrated more on suspense as opposed to in your face gore and cheap thrills. It took me back to old school Hitchcock flick where the viewer would create the suspense for themselves. And he simply created the suspense by camera angles and music and things of the sort.
I'm giving you the short end of the stick on a review but if you've thought about seeing it or haven't..go see it. It will be one of the better movies that you will see this year or ever for that matter. And if you feel differently let me know and I'll fuckin send you a dollar for your lost time.
I had so much more to get into but it's late and I have to be up in 5 hrs for work. I never have time to myself....it sucks. So I bid thee a farewell and a blessed be. Till next time when I can let my ramblings and rants free to roam. Where the buffalo roam
