I just got back alil while ago from seeing IAMX at the Knitting Factory in NYC.
First off, it was my second time being there with the first time only being about 2 and a half weeks ago for the NIN listening party for the new album. Walking in the venue I began to kick myself in the ass because I remember that the knitting factory was where the SG live show was held. If anyone's ever been there then you would know how tiny and intimate the venue is. So I really really regret now not being able to have had the chance to go when they came around.
I've seen alot of shows in my life, but Chris Corner and the band just fuckin owned the place. The crowd was in his hands and the energy was just through the roof. Its hard to say about any artist, but IAMX is soo much more better live then on the album. It was crazy. , they played mainly off of the latest album (the alternative) with a few songs from the previous album. Theres a free show on monday he said, I doubt I can get off of work but we'll see what happens. Vacation from job#2 was exactly what I needed....I'd go into detail right now but Im running on practically no sleep so I bid anyone thats reading farewell
