Alright yall, I just decided to take a challenge: I am going to do my homework :) Bear with me, this first post is going to be a long one since I have more than a months worth of catchup to do, but I will do my best to stay on top of it from here on out :)
1/13: Imagine you are at a dinner party with 3 INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE WHO DIED IN 2016 - what 3 questions would you ask each of them?
Ugh I started typing about how I would just want to pick their brains about the muses that inspired them, but then I started thinking about Leonard Cohens beautiful Letter to Marianne Ihlen before she died and I started crying and realized I should probably be glad I've never had the chance to embarrass myself in front of any of the influential people who died in 2016.
That being said, I want to know which of Gene Wilders films was his favorite. I want to know if Leonard thought he would see Marianne again, and what his best memory of her was. I want to know Bowies favorite meal. I think if I had any time with any of them, I wouldn't waste a single second speaking. I would just want to listen.
1/20: What are your favorite things to do on a rainy day?
1. Drink coffee and write, pen and paper preferably, but on some rainy days my hands won't hold a pen, so I'll settle for keys.
2. Read
3. Meditate to the sound of the rain
4. Afternoon nap
5. Afternoon sex ;)
6. Cook comfort food -or- order thai
1/27: Tell us about a time you formed or broke a habit and how you did it
I'm stubborn as hell, so when I decide something is no longer serving me, my mind is already made up that I don't want it to be a part of my life anymore. When I started doing hair, I didn't want to smell like cigarettes anymore, so after smoking 2 packs a day for years, I just quit cold turkey. It was important for me to change my routine, as it was so ingrained in me to say, smoke at a specific part of my drive, or after meals, but it was more of a compulsion than something I wanted and actively *not* wanting it cut the compulsion significantly. It's definitely harder for me to form good habits than to break bad ones, but I'm getting better.
Ok, That's where I leave you for now. I need to think about the most romantic thing I've ever done, so I'll get back to you on that before next weeks homework is due :)
xoxoxo
