Hey there!
So yesterday was my 21st birthday and I went out with my fiance, sister, @elody @alissa and @feryn for dinner.
Feryn bought me my first legal drink and gave me a sweet little pipe and papers for my bday <3333
Buying my first drink was intimidating and the dude just handed my ID back to me quietly then out of nowhere started yelling about how it was my 21st haha!! I turned sooooo red!
Needless to say, it was perfect! I can't wait to go out this weekend and have fun!
In other words, I wanted to update about my job...I was recently hired as a teaching assistant at a school for the behaviorally challenged children. I'm working with K-2nd graders. I am stoked to say I have finally achieved my dream job and I am loving it to the fullest extent.
It is mentally and physically challenging, but soooo worth it. I work with some seriously messed up children(who aren't angels) and on a daily basis we are using CPI therapeutic holds to keep ourselves and the children safe from outbursts. These kids are amazing even as bas as they are. We strive to help them make the right decision and change their lives for the best.
I'm really enjoying teaching and working with these kids on a daily basis as well as having a "normal" schedule. It is the most rewarding job I've ever done. Every day I learn something new and my eyes have been opened to so much more. I can't wait to see where I go with this and what the future holds.
I am finally doing what I've always wanted and making great money. I'll never go back to the service industry after these kids. They touch your soul in ways you never imagined. It's incredible!
