eek! i moved. one block from where i lived before. it is taking forever. i have little help and too much stuff. but that is my fault, really. maybe i should throw out all my broken turntables.
i think i am going to some vice magazine party today but that's really too hip for my taste and i will probably just see A Dirty Shame and eat some bread. but what i'd really like to do, is unpack. maybe clean the old place before I drop off the keys. you wouldn't think you need to pack to move one block over, but you do. you really do.
i haven't updated or checked anything since i've been dialing into the ucla modem pool (i'm really glad my account still works, even though i haven't been a student for a while).
...er, and i'm videotaping audience test screenings at work now. my duties keep expanding, while my wallet stays the same.
i went to some fancy restaurant on accident last night (boring story) but the food was amazing, i suppose... you get what you pay for. but... a 14 dollar bowl of organic braised lentils is still overpriced and not something i can afford... even if it was delicious.
and please. kill hr 163.

I know of this thing... it is an elusive and fickle lover.
Where I live now, I have a parking spot, but I had to fight tooth and nail for it. Before I succeeded in getting a spot, I parked on the street, where my car was broken into, had all four tires slashed, and was towed.
Of the three, I think getting towed is by far the worst. First I thought someone had stolen my car, Then, while reporting the theft to the police, they tell me it was towed, and I owe them money for the parking ticket, Then I go to the place that towed my car and I owe the bastards DOUBLETIME (city law states the towing company can charge doubletime for the inconvieniance of having to do what the police want when they want it.) plus storage!
I sooooooooooooooo understand moving for parking.
