WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
SUCH A GREAT DAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Decided last night I was going to put myself further into debt and buy a nice new electric guitar... stayed up all night looking online, then that I needed my credit card which was lost somewhere in my room to fund it... so cue 5.30am cleaning... anyways, card not found but aw well I have a clean room now.
So anywaysss... finally went to bed about 9am, got up at 12pm, quick shower and walked into town, lovely day, really warm but not too sunny.
First mission: To find and aquire transport to metallica
Bumped into a few mates and the lucky bastards are all heading over to the proper download festival but aw well.. walked about, saw a sign for some music shop selling bus tickets to metallica in dublin..
Walked in, enquired.. but alas, completely sold out!!!
Luckily I got a number for another guy, but not definat
e he had spaces.. luckily he does so now I can at least have some peace of mind that my most likely inebriated self will have some transport home.. (wether or not I find it at the end of the night remains to be seen, but aw well)
So yeah... success, happy mood.
Onto the next mission.
Second mission: To go look at pretty guitars with horrible prices
(not really a mission, more of something to do heehee)
More walking, into the shop and casually browsing at all the pretty intruments I would love to own, when OOOOO!!!! a nice sign on the window.
"FINANCE AVAILABLE"
Good or bad, it caught my attention, shortly followed by a friendly sales assistant asking if he could help me... oooo the temptation!!!
Quick trip to the office to check if a student already in debt could possibly be allowed a loan... apparently so...
1500 on my credit card so far,
1900 in student loan debt,
some momey overdrawn on my bank account..
And the company decides.. hmm yes. lets give this crazy fool 1000 if he wants it to borrow.
How could I resist!!!
Just look at it
"yeah sure why not, nothing like impulse buys when you cant afford them"
Trip to the tills, deposit payed, guitar in case set beside me, and out the door a happy Chris.
The twist in the tale
Almost home, when I decided to look in the case at the new purchase only to discover its the wrong bloody one!!!
I bought a Gibson SG and the idiots put an Epiphone SG in the case, so a mildly amused, yet tired Chris stumbles back across town, no problems, bit of laughter, them feeling stupid and now the proper guitar safely on my back .
And look ooooooo a nice bottle of JD to celebrate also had to purchased heehee.
Yup, and thats my story for the day.. yeyyyy!!!
A nice shiny new SG for my SG profile heehee
Always wanted one of these and now I have it muhahaha
my dad is going to Metallica! watch out, he is a headcase!
