spent the last week sitting around a hospital room. the wife picked up a MRSA UTI. it jumped the barrier on thurs and turned into a blood infection. this is what's known as "bad". put in other terms, it's also known as "potentially lethal". been sitting in an uncomfortable chair watching bag after bag of cipro and vanco get pumped into her through a recently installed pipe in her throat.. they tried to kick me out at 9 on thurs night. they since learned that letting me stay is better for all involved.. they've since given me a 24 hr visitor's pass. so, i sit in that room for 16-18 hr/day. not my idea of a good time. hopefully she'll get better soon, so we can move home again. oh, and the hospital food has totally screwed my guts. feels like i've been kicked in the sternum.
ahhh, well, no rest for the wicked.
