I studied the Janpanese language for three years and I couldn't order lunch at the corner sushi place. My memory for languages is weak. So, I studied Japanese brush calligraphy instead.
I have not yet been to Japan. When I go I will need to take lots of cash - so many things I know I will want to bring back.
I miss vancouver, too! Especially Casa Gelato www.lacasagelato.com

The Weather in Tokyo was great while I was there. The average temp was about 45 - 50 F. It rained once all day long while I was there, I thought I'd need a surf board I was the only one without an umbrella too haha. I imagine the closer it gets to March the more likely it'll rain.
P.S. Play Horde, Alliance suck! (Ok I'm actually playing ally now but that's not the point I hate them more and more everytime I pvp )

As an answer to your question, IUFM is a school post university where you learn to become a teacher for young pupils (aged under 10).
Actually, it's an occupation as it takes 60% of my time, 30% is sleeping and the rest is for my pleasure, which is short...
... but I realy like what I'm doing though I'm not sure yet to become a teacher as we are 600 and they will take only the 260 best... and I'm far from that...
But this year is realy a good one as I go 250km away from my home to study and so , I escape from the problems and people with problems from my place and I fortunately, I succeed to meet other/new people very interesting and that I like to learn to know
