Woohoo! The weather has turned and a fresh sunburn adorns my shoulders n neck. The fishing has gotten much better again as well. I banked and released over 200lbs of gold beauts today all by my lonesome. Got to teach some kids and their parents about the German royal carp strain that were planted here over a hundred years ago. It's always fun watching kids get an up close look at fish that are as big or bigger than they are. No pics as I left my camera in the boot of my rig. Whoops. Driving home again tomorrow...yay 9 hrs in a car. Get poked and prodded by the soca at the transplant center again on Thursday. Suck being on a list but at the very bottom. Healthy enough I shouldn't just keel over and push daisies but sick enough to make the list. Ah, waiting. My favorite thing not to do.
On a lighter note... My friend and I made a deal today over the phone. If he doesn't get picked up by the fire dept we are both enlisting in the state fish and game academy. Just imagine us in a few months with shiny badges and guns and hopefully my fuzzy boy chasing down baddies and poachers. Knowing my luck I'll get posted on the hottest counties on the Mexican border and have to deal with drug runners with machine guns.
Cheers all
