Well it's been a busy month so far. Moving was pretty painless overall. My new apt has it's quirks, but is super cheap and next to the train (which runs express even at night!) Also, my coworker is related to the owners so they have been awesome about fixing and installing stuff like the sink leaked or shower didn't get hot really.
I have a nice view but the street means noise. What can you do? In Manhattan I've learned it's not what you're willing to give up in an apt, it's how many of the things you'd like are you willing to give up.
The James Beard Awards were this past week so there were many big name chefs coming through at my job. It's always interesting to see and interact with some of these people. We even had Psy from Gagnam style come in. He was super flashy along with his friends.
I'm enjoying the start of summer weather and excited for fun times and upcoming vacation.
