Well it's been a busy month so far. Moving was pretty painless overall. My new apt has it's quirks, but is super cheap and next to the train (which runs express even at night!) Also, my coworker is related to the owners so they have been awesome about fixing and installing stuff like the sink leaked or shower didn't get hot really.
I have a...

Finally some spring weather! NYC can't make up it's mind about what to do, it's hot, it's cold, it rains...all in a week. So I always seem to have one too many/few layers depending on the day. Today is lovely though, and hooray for that.
I secured a new apt!! My friend/coworker's dad owns a building and set me up in a solid 1BR on...

Another chapter ends in my story it feels.
I originally moved to NYC to be closer to my college friends and experience another city than Baltimore. One by one they have all left, the final being this week. Off to Jersey, San Francisco, and South Carolina. So they have all moved on to what's next and here I am about to look for a new...

Happy Birthday to ME!
This week was good overall. I went to a new restaurant, Montmarte from a chef I used to work for, downtown with my friends I haven't spent time with in forever. One lives out in Jersey and the other works different days than me. So we had a bro-union if you will. Ordered way too much food and caught up about...

Went to a jazz show last night. Chris Potter at Village Vanguard. He's there all week so if you're free and in NYC go check it out. Last time I saw him was when he toured with Pat Metheney Unity band and that was fucking awesome. Dude is legit, been listening to him play saxophone for years. Good times.
