I had been putting something off for a very long time. That is until today.......I went to go get tested for HIV. I had every reason to be scared, because of my sexual activity. I went into the center, and took my number (1), and waited until I was called. The guy who talked with me was very nice and answered all of my questions. Then came the test, it was the test where the gums are swabbed with this thing that kinda looked like a pregnancy test (that's what I thought it looked like).
Fortunately, I got the results back in 20 minutes, and I was NEGATIVE. When the tester told me the results, I almost cried. That trepidation was only put on by me because of how I have done things in the past. After that he told me to make sure to come back in 3 months just to make sure that I still don't have HIV. I walked out of the testing room with smiles all over, and two of the people waiting for their results gave me the thumbs up, and one whispered, "congratulations".
I just need to be more careful and wary of the things I do. Tomorrow I am going to another center to do the STD check. Time to go to sleep. Ttyl

Well! That is a relief. Dying sucks.

glad to hear. it is stressful to test for such things even when you don't have reason to think you'll come up positive.
