Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.
Mine was alright, nothing special. We spent the first half of the day at my Mom's and then the latter half at Jen's parents, which is the norm.
Yesterday I got my new truck, which was cool. I had a 2007 Ford Explorer Sportrac which was a lease that we were buying after the lease was up, but decided it was time for something new. So I now have a 2013 F150 that has so many features I don't even know what to do with them all. This is only the 2nd new car/truck I've had so I'm pretty happy with it. It has so much room too, which is great for the kids. This is also the first vehicle I've had where I didn't just have to put the seat all the way back to drive it. Being 6' 5" it can difficult to drive comfortably sometimes, but with this truck I have no problems.
I had tickets to go to the Michigan game today but I finally sold them last week. Didn't get near as much for them as I thought I would. But oh well, at least I didn't lose money. The outcome wasn't good, a loss was what I expected but did not expect it to be that close. Still not sure about the decision to go for two. That is going to be second guessed for a long time I think.
Things have been going ok at home. Communication has been better and I think things are going to work out. But I'm still keeping my eyes open and the level of trust is still not where it needs to be. Maybe it will come back in time. Still not really sure what to say or think about the whole situation.
Well, I hope everyone has a good few weeks leading up to Christmas. I only have 12 days of work left for the year. I'll be on vacation from 12/18 to at least 1/2, but I might stay out until 1/6. Why not, right? :)
