well...yesterday started out pretty bad, but got much much better. my friends came to visit us from north carolina...and we went to a gay bar to drink and do kareoke. well, the bartender kept giving us free drinks because he thought we were cool. apparently, he put more rum in my drink than i'm used to, and after 3, i was huddled on the curb puking my guts out. however, my friends drove me home at 3am, and got me to the front door.
that was the last step for vanuslux' brother...and he kicked us out the next day. our staying there was an, "inconvienience."
luckily, vanuslux, got his mom to wire us some money, and now we have a hotel room all to ourselves. it's the first time i've slept off the floor in two weeks.
vanuslux will probably be getting a job at waffle house on monday...then we can finally get our apartment, and bring my kids down here. hope is finally on the horizon.

My own background is a mixture of Delaware and Cherokee. But as I looked back into the tribal artwork, I really didn't find anything that could be turned into a tattoo. It's entirely possible I missed something. I have some northwest tribal artwork I plan to do, eventually, but I wanted to do something pretty big this time, and the Iroquois had some very extensive body paint that translates very well into black ink work.
