There's an old saying that goes, "You Reap What You Sow". I've been thinking a lot about that lately.
Annette and I raised two wonderful daughters. We gave them love, good values and unquestioning support. When Annette passed away, we were devavstated. I lost the love of my life and my children lost a one in a million mom. We culdn't have gotten through the loss without each other as a family.
Now I'm dealing with some serious concerns which I've spoken about in the past. Aside from my financial problems, I've also been feeling loneliness and isolation since Mae-Ann and I broke up.
Once again, my daughters are there for me. My older one in North Carolina makes sure she checks up on me often to see hoe I'm doing. I spend precious time seeing and talking to her, as well as my grandchildren and son in law through my webcam.
My younger one is aware of how difficult things are for me first hand, since she lives fairly close by. She has made an extra effort to spend more time with me. She shows her love through action, not just words. She even uses whatever limited resources she has to try to help me with finding employment and an affordable place to move to.
Without my children, I'd be truly lost. I'm now reaping what I've sown at a time when I need my loved ones desperately. I guess another expression also comes to mind. It's, "What Goes Around Comes Around."
Despite my troubles, I'm a lucky man.

I've lost track of a couple of friends lately too. I know where they lived and I had their phone number. They're not there. I hope that they made a clean break and a fresh start - sometimes that's what you have to do. It doesn't make me worry any less, though...
I hope that you have a good weekend. Best of luck on Tuesday!
It is too easy to loose track of people.
Lets hope that he just went anon for
awhile.
Now that 'mat' is seen as MIA, I noticed that
Mark2008 has also been quiet

Wishing that this week is better for you.
