Well, Ginny is seeing an old friend on Saturday (uh, today) so we spent the day together yesterday. Would've been better if I hadn't woken up late, but oh well.
We went to see Ong Bak, which is a kick-ass, cringe-at-the-violent-mayhem, pick-your-jaw-up-from-the-floor martial arts film which gets our hearty recommendation. Afterwards we went to this secret Asian foodcourt that she'd found and shared a plate of mini springrolls and talked.
That's pretty much it, nothing exciting aside from us bonding a bit more, but that's an important thing, ja?
What we have established is that we find each other cute but we're both still shy so we're hopeful about getting over that awkwardness and... doing what? I honestly wonder.
It is ever a journey of discovery.
As for the flat-hunting front, what's with people not putting full costs in their ads? I don't want to arrive at a reasonably cool place and get shown around then find out that I can afford the listed rent but there's all sorts of other shit on top which is compulsory. Or they're like "What, you want to move in then? We need someone to move in tomorrow 'cause the rent is due". Well, put your ad in earlier then! Dash my hopes why don't you?
That said, I have at least managed to book in the moving people for Friday morning (cool guys that helped me move before, they even remembered me) - I have no doubt that I'll be able to find a place, but I just want to get it over with. And I replied to what seems like the perfect ad, which hopefully I can get to see tonight, so fingers crossed.
Be good.

That's adorable that you're all shy around each other. I suck at that game. So that whole liking the other person very much turns into : 'HI, I WANT TO MARRY YOU AND HAVE YOUR MAGICAL BABIES!' ... subtle, no?
Good luck with the roommate situation, friend.
