Well...I don't really know how this is done. Have never written a blog in my life. I guess I'll start with an introduction of sorts. I'm a 24 year old with a multi-cultural, multi-national background. I'm quarter Chinese, quarter Irish American and half German. I'm born in Beijing, China; lived 3 years in Aachen, Germany; 4 years in Tokyo, Japan; 5 years in Seoul Korea; 8 years in Stockholm Sweden. I've spent the past 4 years between Sweden, Maryland, North Carolina and Iraq (I'm currently in my 10th month of my 2nd combat tour). On that note, I'd like to point out that I despise the army and am against America's Imperialist wars. My reasons for joining the military are personal, not political. I don't regret my decision to join, but it hasn't gone as planned or hoped and I'm very eager to get out when I get back to the states. My life has taken a lot of very unexpected turns over the last 2 years, and I'm left at a loss as to what exactly will happen next. Whatever it is though, I'm looking forward to being able to take my life into my own hands again.
