What a busy weekend!
On Friday we watched the STARS beat the Sharks at a local sports bar. We weren't the only STARS fans there, just the only ones wearing STARS jerseys. The few Sharks fans either were just cheering to cheer the only remaining CA. team or to just annoy us. They appluaded checks that were nothing, and cheered odd plays that were nothing, then left immediately whenthe game ended.
Saturday, no surfing, spent the afternoon at a friends apt. in Hollywood. Nothing like being in a pool on the roof of a 5 story building and looking out at downtown. It is also a nice touch when you have a cold beer in your hand, a raft to float on and some cood friends and eye candy around. BBQed at their apt. and called it a night.
Sunday, again no surfing, BUT I sold my 6'10" fish surfboard. SO I got that "monkey" off my back. Then Mia and I ran some errands went to Target and then I got a new cellphone! I am now the proud owner of a green LG Rumor phone. Very neat, and fun, still figureing out all the bells and whistles (it has more gadgets then I probably need). Watched the STARS beat up on the Sharks again, and then watched BSG!
Going to work Tuesday - Friday on an ABC Family show called "Middle Man". Don't know what it is about but it is work.
And YES I am already looking at surfboards to get one to replace the one I just sold. However, with the impending SAG strike in July I ma jsut save that money and taek turns riding the two I have. (The rumor in town is that there is going to be a strike and we all should work as much as possible and save our money. It won't be like the writers strike where we worked for a few weeks after it started. When the actors walk, the shows shut down.)
GO STARS!!!!!!!!
