Or hype woman. Or hype person.
I'm feeling extra distraught about the state of book sales after two months of managing 2 or 3 per month. But that's what I'm here for today. No, not to harass you into buying it (though I wouldn't be mad if you did). Instead, I'm here to ask for help.
I know I've asked before, but I really should ask again. If you have and social media presence, I could use your help. If you know people who like to read, I could use your help. If you're bold enough to stop random strangers on the street (maybe you shouldn't) I could use your help.
Look, I was a bit on the fence about whether or not it was worth it. But considering there are reviews on Amazon that say how good my book is, from people who have no reason to want to bullshit on my behalf... I think it's safe for me to say that it is worth people's time to read.
So if you're able, and if you're willing, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share the link to The Ones Left Behind anywhere you're willing to share it. If you're talking to that bookish friend or family member, tell them about this new author you know and recommend my book.
While we're at it, if you feel like joining or recommending my Instagram or Threads profiles, I could use the engagement to try to boost how far my book can reach.
Thank you for reading this, and thank you for any help you can give me. I promise I'm trying to be positive here.
