finished with finals. the first semester's over. five more to go.

tane- I'm studying church history. that particular test covered the reformation. luther, zwingli, calvin and co.

im about to start semester 6, and theres probabally atleast another 5 to go.... ive been studying old english lit... its interesting, but i must get away from it...

I think I bombed my final test in my History 119 class. The final test was over the Rise of Christianity, the establishment of the Pope, and the transition of the Roman Empire from a polytheistic based religion to a monotheistic embracement of " god ".

I was supposed to write two paragraphs on the subject. I ended up writing 3 pages of rants and threats of burning all religions alive! Plus my teacher is a devowed christian.. wonder if I offended her?? I guess I will find out when I check my grades, next week. biggrin

I am more tired than I've been in years. Even when I worked nights- I'm more tired than that.

And I can't sleep.

Greek and history tests in one week, plus convocation and all the trustees that involves. Ugh.

Okay, I'm gonna go hit the benadryl now.

answers to questions:

T-1 is a really, really fast connection. I'm short on my computer lingo, so I can't define it better than that.

where've I been hiding? been going to class and socializing with real time people. also, the process of getting the t-1 involved many system crashes where we had no internet connection for several days.

they have yet to get us connections...

T-1 rocks! We just got hooked up to a t-1 line today! I'll have it in my room sometime soon. It's soooo much faster than dialup it ain't even funny.

I'm better now, and I'm happy 'cause I passed my first exam in church history. One pt. above a C. Now it's time to move on to various and sundry papers that are due soon.

Tane: I'm taking koinos greek, a.k.a. new testament greek. By the end of the semester I should be able to translate large portions of the various gospels and letters.

being sick sucks. I've slept most of the day away and I still feel like crap. This is one of the distinct disadvantages of going back to school. If the change in climate doesn't get you, the first of the year diseases will.

I passed my first greek test. One pt. short of an A. I'd be happy if I didn't feel so crappy.

I just can't keep up with the changes on these boards. I come back and everyone's changed their names... Seminary's changing me. Or more correct, seminary has shown me the need to change myself. Maybe I'll just cancel my subscription and be done with it.

sometime in the future my dorm's getting connected to a T1 line, and then I'll be on more frequently. Until then, I won't be on much.

I'm back. I'm now located in Wisconsin, approx. 30 minutes west of Milwaukee. I like it so far, but I've only been here since 4pm today. (It's 8pm now.)

I was reading what you said on lefty's page about super violent and twisted movies, there's a theatre where i live that shows them every weekend. They showed ebola syndrome but I missed it. The other night I saw a film called singapore sling. It's greek have you heard of it? see my current journal entry for a review of it.

i know what you mean, i accidentally stumbled upon a fake snuff movie once when i was downloading some porn... that wasnt very nice of the person who re-titled the movie to make me think it was something erotic, and i get that, it messed me up!
