@charmaine It would have to be the turkey, mashed potatoes and corn. Mashed potatoes ALWAYS needs corn, and I've combined them all my life. For Thanksgiving, I cut up and add the turkey (usually a butterball) slices to the mixture. Gravy can be added, if needed. My mashed potatoes are pealed, then boiled (real Maine potatoes), then mashed with milk, pepper and butter. Blended might be a better term, because I don't like chunks in my mashed, so mash until it's creamy. Fresh rolls or biscuits are certainly called for. Dessert would be some kind of pie; chocolate, rocky road or key lime. Followed by football on the tv.
