The home of Thailand's biggest stupa, this temple-like structure.
Currently I'm killing time here in Nakhom Pathom waiting five hours for a train. Did the same thing here last year.
This time, while checking out the enormous stupa, I was approached by a dozen Thai girls – all averaging about four feet tall – who wanted to practice their English with me. I agreed, and we then spend about half an hour of them taking turns to interview me, while being videoed. They claimed to be 20-year-old university students, though they were so tiny!
Anyway, it was a weird but interesting experience.
Next I'll be going from her to Sungai Kolok (via a 20-hour train), where I'll cross into Malaysia.
