This is the best I've gotten so far, an elusive sighting in a local drinking hole (she's got blue hair now). Have a look at that big painting on the wall...

Soon though, hopefully, we'll shoot something worthy enough to share with you.

janinekittyb:
LOL at the painting!!!!!!!! I need that for my dining room!!!!!! :P
jac2128:
The painting is awesome. Love it.

I'm going to travel this winter and I'm thinking an interesting idea might be to just pick three cities and spend one month in each – with the idea of doing as many SG photo shoots as possible – because let's face it, I love this artform and haven't had much opportunity to practice it lately.

So with that in mind, what would...

I may stick to one continent: Santiago, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo.

Can't go wrong with those and would be easier to coordinate.  Good luck!

I need some new books to read. I'm in a fantasy/sci-fi mood. Any suggestions? I'd prefer long series, and series that are done.

Right now I've begun reading "The Eye of the World" by Robert Jordan, but I'm on the fence about it so far.

The "Night's Dawm Trilogy" by Peter F. Hamilton. One of the best series I ever read.
anjave:
The Tales of Einarinn series is good, by Juliet E.Mckenna. An old favourite of mine!

@felynx arrived and after nearly a week, I have yet to take any photos of her. :(

We've been too busy working, drinking and in general partying. But soon! Hopefully tonight or tomorrow we'll get to shoot...

Or really, about 25 hours to the arrival of Felynx. I'll try to post NEW photos of her on Saturday!

Perfect girl <3

I cook my food with this odd little wood stove. Below are two meals I've made with this stove: first is pedaha (perogies) and smokies, with tomatoes and pickles, followed by macaroni and cheese, with pureh tea.

In the middle is a strange cluster of ten chairs, each hewn from a single log, sitting on their own out in the middle of the forest

Beautiful!

1. The view from the ferry.
2. A beautiful mushroom – is it edible?
3. Starting a fire in the hostel common room.

Amazing

Or in the very least a food eater.

1. Chicken avocado wrap with onion rings.
2. Burger with a fried egg on top (because a 7 ounce patty isn't enough protein) and a garden salad.
3. Creamy chicken enchiladas with Caesar salad.

Looks absolutely delicious!

I noticed @felynx already announced it on her page, so I guess I can too. In 15 days Felynx Suicide is coming to the Yukon Territory and will be living next door to me!

I'll try to post a photo the day she arrives and then there will be new photos every couple days after that!

You are lucky. Will be looking forward to the pics.

Awesome for you, enjoy the company!

It's now Day 12 of my stay in Dawson City, in the Yukon Territory, and so far I'm settling in pretty well. I do think I will get some writing done here, perhaps even finish a book. We'll see. If I can, that would be fantastic, because a book could mean somewhat steady income (assuming people like it and buy it).

Always did like hunter's work, so sign me up for a copy when you publish it

@stormyent made it to the front page two days ago! Check out the set:

The set was photographed by the amazing @darryldarko

Congrats to both of you on getting featured with such incredible work. I love the angles, the lighting, the cool tones. Just utterly breathtaking.

Anyhow, this set actually went live in July/2014, ten months
