I've finally made it back to the Yukon and now I'm in Dawson City. I haven't visited here in nearly four years or lived here in seven, but it feels like I've come home.

Dawson City is a magical place. Timeless. It's a goldrush-era town (on the banks of the Klondike River) and all the buildings are maintained in that

That looks awesome!

So awesome.

I've been away too long. A lack of internet access will do that.

I've had three new sets go up very recently, the latest with @nianebula (pictured above), and the other two with @skylan and @lacholaloca I'll write more about these sets soon.

A few days ago I submitted my set with @ddaniella but alas it was rejected. I'll post some

Happy trails! What a dynamite @nianebula is, good luck with the set!

Have fun traveling! Wonderful sets:)

I've been shooting with a Nikon D3 for the last 7.5 years. Without exception, it's brutally fast and accurate, always.

But lately (perhaps because I've been travelling), I've been craving a smaller/lighter body. The D3 is damn big and bulky. So now I'm strongly considering getting a new camera.

I'm a Nikon boy though, and all my

@pyromethious I've decided I'll be going with the Nikon Df. Best image quality, best in low light, best in adverse conditions. Really the best camera for both photo shoots and photojournalism.
pyromethious:
But why does the MP not matter? The avg min is sufficient or the type of use?

I'm enjoying my last few weeks in Thailand now with my friend Danielle ( @ddaniella ), a wonderful tattooed gal from Saskatchewan.

First we were in Bangkok, then we headed south to the islands and beach paradises, and now we're in the ruins of the north. Perhaps tomorrow I'll be shooting her very first SG Hopeful set and then it'll be submitted very

How does it feel around those ruins?
daniirae:
awesome!

1. The man beside me on the train today had 12 toes.
2. Walked into a barbershop yesterday and paid $2 to get my head shaved.
3. The way to a girl's heart is with pineapple.

jozsef:
A lot of things are cheap in those countries. Here in Canada, I can barely afford the standard allotment of ten toes. Shall I assume you still possess both ears after that shaving transaction? As for the pineapple, should I walk around with one or more of them prominently displayed? This is timely advice and I don't want to mess it up. It's been a long drought.

Shepherd of the Forest – my set with @stormyent – is almost at 2,000 likes and 500 comments! Can we please reach those milestones??

She is stunning

awesome!

To add to that last update, though I will go to the Yukon, I can't get there until about mid-May, and I fly back to Canada on April 22... So, I have some time to kill, so let's fill that time with SG shoots! Here's what I'm thinking for my availability:

APRIL 23-30 – TORONTO

MAY 1-7 – MONTREAL

If you're from...

I'm glad you decided on the book. Sexy women will always be around a chance to write might not be around again for a while

In mid-May I’m going to Dawson City in the Yukon Territory, to live for three months in a tent, to try to actually finish writing a book.

Here’s the thing. During this six months of Thailand, I spend about seven weeks on an isolated island trying to write. I had some success – first in 10 days I wrote the rough beginnings of a...

You've but one life to live and I think it would be a travesty not to go! This is very inspirational. More individuals should go on "self-realization" trips like this. Good luck to you!

As a would-be writer, I applaud your decision (and envy just a little your ability to make it 😊 ). Good luck!

Is it just me, or have we gotten stagnant? As a society, I mean. I feel like we're just treading water.

Like the whole world (or at least the whole developed, Western, rich world) is devoted to accumulating personal wealth and satisfying individual desires. We want to make lots of money, we want to sleep with lots of people, and that's pretty much

Am I the only one wondering who'll be the first to make an SG Set in space?
imporeo:
yeah that sums up western society although i do believe they are trying to put people on mars although i doubt that will actually go well

@cheshi had a new set go live a few days ago – Gone Batty – shot by @hazzard

While you're at it, have a look at my set of Cheshi: Twilight of Ruins

It is a wonderful set:)

Thank you so much for the shout out on this set! I just love this one <3

@rachybabyx was a Hopeful with several beautiful sets in MR, but now she's vanished. What's up? Usually when someone quits SG the account still stays, so this is very odd... Plus her sets hadn't been up long enough to be taken down yet.

Hey, yeah it's now Ghillie! I had to change it when I became pink! :)
witchking:
Ah, interesting @ghillie , you're pink, but you don't have set of the day yet? I suppose you're in the pink queue? Anyway, I honestly don't see what was wrong with your old name, or why this new one is any better. How did they explain it to you?

@stormyent really deserves to make it to the front page again, doesn't she? She's such an awesome person, a free spirit, a creative mind, and a dedicated Suicide Girl. Our set (Shepherd of the Forest) is now one month old and is at that critical point – with 1913 likes and 457 comments – that it could make it, with just a little more effort

@pyromethious Likes are a big part, but it's also comments, and also personal taste of the people who choose. Definitely not an exact science.

Ah, that would explain the cat fighting I've heard of.
