Back in November/December, I spent about six weeks on a little tropical island off the coast of Thailand. There was no internet. No phones. Limited electricity. A bungalow, a hammock and the ocean.

It was true bliss getting to disconnect from the world. I watched the sunset every night.

Tomorrow I'm going to return there for another 15 days, so until I return

Hope you're having a great time. And thanks again for posting such beautiful evocative pics!

I can't get over how stunning some of the scenery is here!

Yesterday I caught a train through the deep south from Nakhon Si Thammarat to Surat Thani and today I'm taking a bus west to Ranong. More photos soon!

I just re-watched Star Wars Episode III (as much of it as I could stand) and then followed it up with Episode IV, and I gotta say... is it just me, or was the old Star Wars better?

Of course we know the story was better (that's why they made the middle episodes first), but I mean from a special effects perspective. It just

That's right, although I'm a bit worried and skeptical about J.J. Abrams as a director, because....well, J.J. Abrams...
unknownmisery:
A lot of the magic of the original trilogy was how it managed to tap into mythological themes in an almost unconscious, primordial way. The new trilogy went about it in such a heavy handed way.

Shepherd of the Forest, my set with @stormyent, already has over 400 comments – including more than a hundred from Suicide Girls and Hopefuls – which is amazing and astounding! But now the set needs more Likes to push it into Front Page territory. Will you please go look at the set and Like it if you haven't already? And even if you have, feel free

Just the way I like it

Yesterday began at midnight with a night bus from Cherating to Kota Bharu, Malaysia. From there I caught a local bus to the border at dawn and crossed over to the Thai city of Sungai Kolok. Then I boarded a train for a 12-hour journey to Nakhon Si Thammarat, which is where I am now.

It's a lovely, untouristy city, and I'll post

Just an amazing job on @stormyent 's set. Her curves and lines, that background and theme! Magnificent!

I've done so many photo shoots with this beautiful gal – truly, @daniirae is the perfect form – that I can't help posting a few more of her.

Here's the last batch of photos I submitted of her: Daniirae

And here's her debut SG Hopeful set. Please fave and comment on it! Graffiti Basement

Yay! Enjoy reading and looking at your adventures! Oh and the sets of course!

In all my excitement over the StormyEnt set yesterday, and then the Felynx set getting chosen for SOTD, it totally slipped my mind... I had another set go live a couple hours ago, this time @daniirae's debut set:

This was taken about a year ago in a crazy graffiti-filled basement somewhere in Alberta. I've done

Grats

I've been thinking of writing a blog entry explaining how I shoot a set – my technique and equipment and all that – would anyone be interested in reading that, or would it take away from the magic of it all?

Anyway, if you haven't done so already, go check out Shepherd of the Forest.

i would dig that...

"He led the way in under the huge branches of the trees. Old beyond guessing, they seemed. Great trailing beards of lichen hung from them, blowing and swaying in the breeze. Out of the shadows, the hobbits peeped, gazing back down the slope: little furtive figures that in the dim light looked like elf-children in the deeps of time peering out of the Wild Wood
