It's been a crazy month of August.
The first week wasn't too exciting, but then I went on a 10-day vacation which began with a weekend at the psychedelic Shambhala Music Festival on a mountainous ranch near Salmo, British Columbia.
Following this I headed further into B.C., spending a few days in each of Kelowna and Vancouver. There I got to do my favourite artistic endeavour: photo shoots with beautiful women.
In a five-day period I did eight shoots, four of which would be for Suicide Girls!
When I returned home in mid-August, full of enthusiasm for all the new creative work I had done, I lost my job. It's okay though, it wasn't a great job. The only real consequence is it was holding me to that place, and now without it, I'm prone to wandering. Following the loss I went to Saskatchewan for a few days to hang out with a good friend (who I also did a photo shoot with) and then I came back and spend the remainder of the month cleaning out my apartment and doing a few more shoots.
In total, for the month of August, I did 16 photo shoots, and will be potentially producing a total of 11 SG sets with nine models (seven of whom are Hopefuls).
The first to get accepted is with the lovely lady pictured above, @NIANEBULA
Nia was one of the Vancouver shoots, and was really fun to work with. The only model to ever offer me two dips ;)
Seriously though, she was great, I loved working with her, and I hope someday to see her again.
Having lost the job, I'm now going to do what I usually do in that situation: head to Thailand for the winter! Right now I'm in the process of relocating back to my family's place in Ontario, and in about two months I'll fly to the far side of the world...
