Still reading Thucydides and writing a Human Subjects Review application... Talked with the I-can't-feel-the-way-I-feel-about lady last night, she's still in Hawaii and missing me as much as I miss her.

Took some time out today and went pheasant hunting with Bucky in Eastern Washington... Now I'm trying to get back on task.

Summer is over for me now. After the Arabic was over, went off to Boston for a few weeks - watched the Sox play the Rangers, went fishing, bought some art, and married off my buddy. No funding for next year yet - that's what I get for being the Department's freelancer... Almost done, though. Trying to figure out whether or not to keep going or make the masters a terminal degree.

Monday - paying taxes and doing Arabic sure have ways of breaking up the weekend slide.

Of course, tonight I'll be combat-rolling around in front of the TV ( ) watching Jack Bauer kick ass and it will feel like Saturday from 9-10pm I'm so hardcore on Mondays.
