It's more difficult to move on with all manner of refuse clinging to your coat tails.
You can't keep your foot on my neck!
i got raging drunk on friday night. only slept 6 hours.
i got loaded on pain pills on saturday night. only slept 6 hours.
i stayed sober on sunday night and slept 6 hours.
i think it's a sign.
how's the skull? how's the heart? how's the liver?
Even though the pharma industry is taking some big hits with the lawsuits lately - cox-2 inhibitors and antidepressants, the benefits and the salaries, and the work hours are so much more conducive to my mental well-being. Plus the job would be more challenging. I think I would go ballistic on my coworkers if I worked in retail or in a hospital. My other option would be doing a residency in managed care - which is evil in it's own right because it'd be trying to reduce costs and fucking over the little people more. D'oh.....
Please check this out if you find that you have time - an interesting take.

Happy birthday! What a terrible way to feel on your day.
Being without access to the net is effing torture! I have no idea why I didn't hear of a man in Seattle on a tower threatening people because of a lack internet service.
Maybe you will tell me of this hopelessly adrift business. I promise if you do I won't attempt to give some type of smarmy advice. I most assuredly have no such advice to give, anyway. It sounds rather serious, though - maybe.
Also, I am rather embarrassed that made a typo in my post to you. It makes it seem less sincere than it actually was.
And in other news... I didn't know that thirty five was considered the halfway mark.
I'm a gloomy guy in general. I'm surprised you hadn't already noticed.
Thirty-five as the halfway mark is from the opening line of Il Infierno, " Nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita," meaning, approximately, "When I had come to the midpoint of human life." Dante was referring to the Biblically-allotted "threescore years and ten," (and believe it or not I can't cite Chapter and Verse, but it's in there somewhere).
As for what I did on my birthday, I did the same thing I do every night. Tried to take over the world.
It went as usual.
I'd bet not as badly as some other liquors--it's pretty smooth, comparatively.
Also want to say that I looked at your work and it is gorgeous!!
