Thank a diety! I'm starting to get better. I've been sick with this hainous hack-up-a-rainbow-of-clumpy-shit cold and today, I've felt like I'm pulling out of it. I was so sick I even got booted out of a tattoo appt. Wes has a newborn baby girl so I understand that being around me for hours would be a big risk for him to pass it on to her so I'm not pissy. What does suck though, after almost 2 months between sittings, the soonest I could reschedule was April 11. Dick farts! That's another fuckin month. I'm really getting that itch and I'm going a little looney. I'm going to be a pig in shit on the 11th.
Some cool side news, I found a small enclosed trailer for my bass rig. It's the perfect size. It's 4'(wide)x5'(long)x3'(tall). Whenever I buy the 8x10 with my tax return and that free $600 cash the gov. decided to hand over for the masses to burn on crack and lottery tickets, it'll fit perfectly. What's really sweet is the trailer only cost $275. That's cheaper than it would have cost to buy the steel and have Dad weld it for free. We're doing some little stuff to it to really make it perfect. We've already replaced the exterior lights and even installed a dome light inside. We've waterproofed it, added a heavy-duty tongue to balance it out better, fabricated a spare tire mount on the new tongue, fixed a couple spots on the back door and cleaned off a little rust. Up next on the to-do list: install indoor/outdoor carpet so stuff doesn't slide around, weaterstrip the door, and paint it. I've already got the paint idea. Gloss black so it will match my jeep and do a fat, white stripe diagonally up from the front, angle it straight back and connect it up at the front. Pimpin'
It's really cool having a project to work on and look forward to finishing. It's been a while since I've done something really constructive.
